The Piano Lab was established in 1985. The Lab offers private instruction in piano, keyboard, voice and guitar. Dulcimer is offered upon request. Lessons are offered for ages 4 to adult and at all levels. The Piano Lab also offers Kindermusik for ages newborn to 7 years old.

We also have a certified Suzuki Piano Teacher on staff. The staff consists of professional instructors as well as college and student teachers. Recitals are held three times each year, as well as numerous performing opportunities through community events and nursing homes. Students may also participate in the National Piano Playing Auditions, sponsored by The National Guild of Piano Teachers. During the summer months, special group classes are offered including hymn playing, jazz improvisation & how to use a fake book, Meet the Composer and theory classes. Also offered during the summer are Kindermusik camps for ages newborn to 7 years.
This year the Piano Lab has adopted composer Kevin Olson. Mr. Kevin R. Olson is an active pianist, composer, and faculty member at Elmhurst College near Chicago, Illinois, where he teaches classical and jazz piano, music theory, and electronic music.
